"Art of Shinkansen" is an exhibition of JR Central Japan Railways. Along with other artists worldwide.
Gif animation by Furze Chan ── #12 Train Station Lunchbox - Ekiben.
The animation was created by using colour pencils. Then, I animated the Ekiben(Japanese lunch box) drawings in a naive way similar to stop-motion. To me, a colour pencil drawing always bring warmth and nostalgic feelings. This is somehow in echo with the joyful and blessed feeling while enjoying the well-made Japanese Ekibens.
